The Adult Literacy Program of Cumberland County is a non-profit organization founded in 2005. It provides free tutoring by trained volunteers for adults (18 and over). The Scarecrow Festival is in its fifth year, though this was the first year for the Alzheimer’s walk.   • October 9th Plateau Corvette Club members drove to  McCloud Mountain Restaurant near Duff Tennessee. The Restaurant is perched atop the Cumberland Mountains with a panoramic view that stretches as far as the Smoky Mountains.   • September  29 Plateau Corvette Club members attended the Crossville Airport Open House with their Corvettes. The Annual Open House and Fly-In celebrated the airport’s 84th  anniversary.   • September 22 Plateau Corvette Club members attended the Crossville Downtown Cruise-In. After the Cruise-In they drove on the back roads of Tennessee to Spankies in Cookeville where they enjoyed a great meal . They also learned that Corvettes don’t melt in the Rain!
