May 24th ,2023 several Plateau Corvette Club members drove to Historic Granville Tennessee that is often referred to as ” Tennessee’s Mayberry Town. Their visit started at the 1880 Sutton General Store where they enjoyed a good old fashion lunch. After lunch they began touring Granville’s Historic Home featuring Steamboat days of Granville, the Pioneer Village, Antique Car Museum, Flower Garden, Crops and Blacksmith, Basket Shop, Grist Mill, Loom Shop, Broom Shop and Woodworking. Then took self tours of Mayberry Lucy Museum, Granville Whiskey Decanter Museum (Worlds’ Largest Decanter Museum with over 5,000 Decanters, 75 of which are Corvette Decanters), Whistle Stop Saloon & Ice Cream Parlor Museum, Clemons Car Museum, Daniels Barber Shop & Post Office Museum, Memory Lane, Granville Museum with special exhibits on Steamboats, The Farm to Table Museum, Tennessee Quilt Museum, and the Granville Broom Shop.
