Plateau Corvette Club members visited The Beechcraft Heritage Museum, it is a world class aviation museum. With over 78,000 square feet, its exhibits include 38 aircraft from the mid 1920’s to this century along with original art pieces and extensive historical displays of aviation and Beechcraft history. The ride there was along both State Highways and nice back roads – traveling through Sparta, McMinnville and into Tullahoma (no interstate driving!!!) They made a stop at the entrance gate at Arnold Air Force Base near Tullahoma and took a group photo with their vehicles in front of a couple of old fighter jets that are on permanent display outside the entrance to the base. They stopped for lunch at Whiskey Trail BBQ & Steakhouse in Tullahoma, TN. and what would a drive be without an Ice Cream stop in Sparta at Granny’s Soft Serve!

Thanks to Phil and John for planning the trip.
