Plateau Corvette Club members were invited to join East Tennessee Corvette Club’s Poker Run on July 20th. One of the first stops was at the McGhee Tyson Air National Guard Base, where they drove onto the Air Base and pull up in front of a fully armed Black Hawk Helicopter. There was a professional photographer present, taking photos of each one of their Vettes in front of the helicopter. Part of their drive was cruising the 318 curves of the 11 miles of twisty roads that make up the Tail of the Dragon. A Lunch stop was made at Tapoco Tavern in North Carolina. They had a wonderful ride on the Poker Run and the Tail of the Dragon. Thanks to Roger and Kathy for leading the pack. We were all winners in the end.

Thanks to Les and Kelly for the photos.
