The day started with a “Get Well” drive past club members, John and Reggie home wishing John a speedy recovery, then club members proceeded to the Fairfield Glade First Baptist Church for the Plateau Alzheimer’s Walk.

Twenty-three Corvettes and at least 2 steel cars participated from our club, about 40 club members. It was a perfect temperature/ weather day and lots of our members won prizes. Not only did we donate, but there were cans by each car for spare change collection, and those donations totaled around $200! Murf and Risa obtained a gift certificate donated by Custard Cabin for the club member who had the most $ in their can- won by Don and Dee. The Alzheimer’s group donated prizes for the 2nd and 3rd place as well, 2nd place Avery and Jennifer, and 3rd place was Les and Kelly. Lunch was at Stonehenge Grill and desert at the Custard Cabin. Overall, an excellent day to be with our corvette friends.

Thanks to Mike and Risa for leading our group.
