On September 1st, 2025, we had a wonderful turnout from club members to attend the 10th Annual Labor Day Cruise-in at the Netherland Church of Christ. The club ride to the show was organized by Les and Kelly Rhoades. We had eight Corvettes and fifteen club members in attendance. The morning started out a little bit overcast with some glimpses of blue skies, which gave us hope for the day. Unfortunately, shortly after leaving our stating point on the drive from Monterey to Rickman, we drove into some light rain. Luckly, the last few miles of the drive was dry, so the cars had enough time to mostly dry off. A minor meteorological event met with positive attitudes. The show parking lot was packed with classic cars and trucks, along with some more modern Corvette horsepower. Our ears were treated to some great authentic bluegrass music from the band, “Conspiracy to Kill a Possum”. A big thanks to Gary and Jan Edwards for bringing some snacks to share. Jan’s Charcuterie board which was covered with crackers, sausage and cheese and apple slices was a big hit. Also, several of the members enjoyed a free hotdog and soda offered by the church. The church members treat everyone with gracious respect and even came over to our group and thanked us for attending the show. After the show, we drove to the town Livingston for lunch at The Steel Coop restaurant.
