  • January 6, 2019 Plateau Corvette Club members took their first drive for 2019. With a break in the weather and sunny skies it was time to take the Corvettes out of the garage for a short drive to Cookeville to enjoy dinner at the Longhorn Steak House.

  • December 16 the Plateau Corvette Club held their annual Christmas Party at Fortes in downtown Crossville.

  • December 3rd, 2018 Plateau Corvette Club members made their annual Christmas Donations to two local Cumberland County Organizations.

    The Adult Literacy Program of Cumberland County is a non-profit organization founded in 2005. It provides free tutoring by trained volunteers for adults (18 and over). Academic subjects include reading, writing, comprehension, and basic math.

    Kid on the Rise is a non-profit agency that provides a mentoring program for children and youth enrolled in the Cumberland County Schools who may be experiencing an opportunity gap or life changing-situation. The organization has been matching students with mentors in Cumberland County since 1991.

  • November 10th 2018, Plateau Corvette Club members drove in the Crossville Veterans Day Parade. They paid tribute to the many Veterans who gave their lives and fought for our freedom.

  • October 13th Plateau Corvette Club members attended this years Annual Crossville Scarecrow Festival and Car Show. The Scarecrow Festival is in its fifth year, though this was the first year for the Alzheimer’s walk. Scarecrows were judged in six categories: Community, Education, Business, Family, People’s Choice and Best in Show. Vehicles were judged in nine categories: Pre-1950, 1951-1960, 1961-1970, 1971-1980, Rat Rod, Jeep, People’s Choice, Most Car Club Participants, Best in Show. The Plateau Corvette Club won the trophy for the most club members in attendance.

  • October 9th Plateau Corvette Club members drove to  McCloud Mountain Restaurant near Duff Tennessee. The Restaurant is perched atop the Cumberland Mountains with a panoramic view that stretches as far as the Smoky Mountains. It is located on a 1300 acre tract of land at an elevation of 2700 feet, atop the Cumberland Mountains. On the way home they took a leisurely drive thru the scenic roads of Tennessee.

  • On the October 5th and 6th weekend several Plateau Corvette Club members attended the East Tennessee Corvette Club annual Vette Fest in Pigeon Forge Tn.. East Tennessee was Celebrating  their  60th Anniversary, The Vette Fest 40th Anniversary, and Celebrating Sting & Ray’s 25th Birthday (Vette Fest Mascots).

    They also held a Vette Fest Car Show where exterior and interiors were judged. One of our members  won Best of Class for her 2005 Corvette.

    Several members also attended the Hatfield & McCoy’s Dinner/Show. The Dinner was a Family-Style Buffet followed by a Comedy Show.

  • September  29 Plateau Corvette Club members attended the Crossville Airport Open House with their Corvettes. The Annual Open House and Fly-In celebrated the airport’s 84th  anniversary. On display were many vintage and military aircraft. Great weather made for a many great fly overs of various airplanes and helicopters.

  • September 22 Plateau Corvette Club members attended the Crossville Downtown Cruise-In. After the Cruise-In they drove on the back roads of Tennessee to Spankies in Cookeville where they enjoyed a great meal . They also learned that Corvettes don’t melt in the Rain!
