  • February 18th Drive and Dine, Plateau Corvette Club members enjoyed a tasty meal at Casa Luna Italian Restaurant & Grill in Sparta, TN. They enjoyed a leisurely drive via 70 N & 84 S. Whereas the weather wasn’t what we had the day before, (nor after) the caravan consisted of only three Corvettes, and three steel cars.

  • Plateau Corvette Club members enjoyed their Tuesday night bowling at the Plateau Lanes bowling alley.  After a couple games members went to the Beef and Barrel restaurant for dinner.

  • For the January Drive and Dine Plateau Corvette club members enjoyed a trip to Calhouns in Oak Ridge Tennessee for some of their famous barbecue dinners . With a break in the weather and blue skies they once again enjoyed a drive on the Tennessee highways. Some members drove their Corvettes.  Good food ,good friends made for a fun trip.

  • At the January 5th club meeting the Plateau Corvette Club President, Tom Laracey presented a donation to House of Hope representative Denise Melton.

    The House of Hope is a non-profit care facility for children when they are removed from their home due to drugs, abuse, and neglect. They receive no government funding.

  • On December 18th the  Plateau Corvette Club held their annual Christmas party at Forte’s on the Square Restaurant in downtown Crossville.  They auctioned off Christmas gifts to benefit the House of Hope Angel Tree. Club member Dan played Santa Claus and auctioneer with help from his wife Pam ( Mrs. Claus). Big Thank You to Monte and Phyllis for hosting the event.

    VEC Representative Bobby Randolph accepts a check from club President Tom Laracey

    Members of the Plateau Corvette Club made a Christmas  donation  to Volunteer Energy Cooperative Project Deserve, which assists the elderly, handicapped, low-income, and unemployed with their electric bills in emergency situations.

  • November 19 Plateau Corvette Club members Drive and Dine was  to the Longhorn Steakhouse restaurant in Cookeville TN. They drove from Crossville on Route 70n to Cookeville and enjoyed the still colorful fall leaves.

  • November 10th Plateau Corvette Club members drove to Bowling Green Kentucky , home of the Corvette Museum and Corvette factory. There they had lunch in the Museum Cafe. After lunch they went to the Corvette Factory where they took a tour of the plant and saw  how a 2017 Corvette is made, then back to the Museum where they had a private tour. There were new exhibits of the sink hole where you got to experience how it collapsed. Before leaving they took a final walk thru the Museum Gift Shop.

  • Wednesday October 19th Plateau Corvette Club members drove their Fall tour and took a two hour back road drive to Rarity Bay Country Club. There they had lunch at the Country Club enjoying the beautiful fall colors.

  • Plateau Corvette club members attended the East Tennessee Corvette Clubs annually Vette Fest at a new location in Pigeon Forge TN at the Country Cascades Inn. The hotel is newer, has a much larger parking lot and is centrally located in Pigeon Forge within easy walking distance to numerous eateries and shopping. Near perfect weather made for a great weekend for them to view the many Corvettes on display from other Corvette clubs, some coming from as far as Florida, Illinois and Ohio.
