Plateau Corvette Club members attended the NCM Bash at the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green Ky on the weekend of April 27th to the 29th
NCM Bash traditionally marks the rollout of the next model year Corvette; the place where members can see them up close and in detail. Bash 2017 provided enthusiasts the chance to see the new 2018 Corvette Stingray up close as well as getting all the latest information about the 7th Generation Corvette. Seminars featured speakers discussing ‘What’s new in the 2018 model year’ award winning body structure, as well as using their 7th generation navigation system. There was a large contingent of GM engineers and designers from Warren Tech Center, and the Bowling Green Assembly Plant ready to answer questions.


April 26 Plateau Corvette Club members took old route 70 from Crossville to the Snow White Drive-In located in Lebanon, TN. This is an Old School roadside fast food place offering car or table service for burgers, hot dogs, milk shakes or other diner fare.





Saturday, April 15. Plateau Corvette Club members meet at the closed Ryan’s Buffet parking lot in Crossville. They enjoyed a scenic 23 mile trip to the Country Porch Bakery / Cafe / Market at 3130 Muddy Pond Road, Monterey, where they had lunch. The deli provided a selection of custom made sandwiches, soup of the day, and salads. Live harmonica and guitar serenaded the group. After a look around the many items possible to purchase, they hit the road again. Some went their own way home, while others followed Dan and Pam out to their home outside Sparta where an assortment of ice cream pies, coffee and water awaited. “Peanuts” was very glad to see everyone. Thursday April 14 Plateau Corvette Club members drove to Falls Creek Falls via East Valley Road to Pikeville and then to the falls. There they viewed the Falls and some brave members walked across the swinging bridge over the falls. Afterwards they drove to the Cookie Jar Cafe in Dunlap TN for lunch. The Cookie Jar is an operational dairy farm that has been in the family for over 150 years! They have the best home made desserts in the Valley





Wednesday April 12 , Spring is here and looks like great Corvette driving weather. Plateau Corvette Club members drove to Clarkrange via 40w to 127 north to Potato Farm road then on to Genesis road to Obed scenic overlook. They drove to the Cumberland Mountain General Store in Clarkrange to view what our ancestors had to live with and had lunch in the Rock-A-Billy Diner which is stuck in the 50’s.






April 7 , 2017 Plateau Corvette Club members drove their Corvettes to escort this years nine contestants and the current Ms Tennessee from the Hampton Inn in Crossville to the Fairfield Glade Convention Center. Escorted by the local Crossville Police Department the Corvettes drove up Peavine Road to the Convention Center. After the drive club members went to Legends Restaurant for dinner.

On March 25 Plateau Corvette Club members drove to Knoxville Tn. to Wasabi Steak House. They were entertained by the Chef right at the table while they were having dinner.
