August 31 dawned bright and sunny. 19 cars and 34 people assembled in Crossville for a trip to Rugby, TN. Just over an hour later we arrived. Lunch was at the Harrow Road Cafe. Those who wished to shop or visit the 1890’s print shop could do so. The historical film and following tour of Rugby provided some interesting insight into a very unique piece of Tennessee history. A number of members stopped for ice cream at the Cumberland Mountain General Store in Clark Range. A tasty way to interrupt the drive back home.
