On Saturday April 1st, following storms Friday night, 40 of our club members in 21 Corvettes showed up to participate in the car show and Benefit for Samuel Neal held at the Wildwood Stables in Fairfield Glade. Little Samuel who was 13 months old at the time of the accident (3 years old now) was there with his family and people were encouraged to come up and meet him. The family was very thankful for all who turned out to help them raise funds for their trip to Panama where Samuel will received stem cell therapy to help him in his recovery. Live music was played by Jake Hoot who played a few songs that he recently recorded, they will be released this summer and the Bluegrass band “Silverpoint” from Wilder, Tennessee took the stage and sang a few of their songs before wind knocked out the power for their equipment.
Thanks to Ron and Jean for leading the group and collecting donations for the family!!
