Despite rainy skies and dreary weather brought on by the remnants of Hurricane Isaias, members of the Plateau Corvette Club were happy to attend the 56th Annual East Tennessee Corvette Club Car Show at Reeder Chevrolet on October 11.

Our friends at the East Tennessee Corvette Club did an outstanding job adapting to the weather by moving the show cars and judging indoors, ensuring the event could go on comfortably despite the conditions. Their efforts paid off with a wonderful turnout and a great day of Corvette fellowship.
The event featured beautiful Corvettes, a bake sale, and a silent auction, giving everyone plenty to enjoy throughout the day. We are proud to congratulate club member Charlie Manker on earning a Best-in-Class award, and our members were honored to bring home the Club Participation Award as well.
One of the best parts of being in the Corvette community is supporting our sister clubs when they host events. Rain or shine, we wouldn’t have missed this one for the world. The hospitality, organization, and enthusiasm of the East Tennessee Corvette Club made for a terrific day, and we were grateful to be part of it.
