  • The club fall picnic was held October 14th at Fred & Cindy’s home. Everyone brought their favorite dish to share with friends. “Every day is a picnic when you’re with friends !”

  • October 8 Plateau Corvette Club members attended the East Tennessee Corvette Club 53rd annual Corvette Car show. There were many Corvettes on display from C-1s to the new C-8’s. The Plateau Corvette Club won an award for the club with the most members in attendance.

  • On October 6 several Plateau Corvette Club members drove to Summerville Ga to attend the NCRS Judging being held at Greg Wyatts Vintage Corvettes in Summerville Ga. They were not going to let a little liquid sunshine dampen their fun!! Club members Mike (1966) and Ed (1971) had their Corvettes there for NCRS Judging.

  • Plateau Corvette Club members showed up in force for the East Tennessee Corvette Club Vette Fest Weekend! This year the theme was ” Back to the 60’s”. They won the award for the club with the most participants with 25 members taking part in the festivities and both Pam and Todd and Danny and Claudia taking “Best of Class for their Corvettes.

  • Friday September 22nd 12 members in 6 Corvettes hit the curves headed to Somerset, Kentucky for the Somernights all Corvette Only Showcase. After a beautiful scenic drive, they stopped in Burnside, Kentucky for the “meet n greet”. They joined in the “Rattlesnake Run”, 326 curves in 74 miles through the Daniel Boone National Forest (really nice curvy road route with a stop off at Cumberland Falls State Park).

    On Saturday morning they made the trek to Somerset for the September, 2023 Somernights All Corvette Showcase Event.

  • On Tuesday, September 19th several Plateau Corvette Club members traveled to the Algood Walmart to participate in the Alzheimer’s 500 held in conjunction with Walmart’s from Memphis to Bristol and is to raise awareness for Silver Alerts.

  • The Plateau Corvette Club members headed out for an adventure on Monday, September 18th – As they embarked on a scenic, curvy ride through the mountains and hills of Tennessee, en-route to the Stolen Coin Oyster Bar and Bistro in Gainesboro , Tennessee, where they stopped for lunch before hitting the curves and enjoying the beautiful scenery on their way back home. Great weather and great friends!

  • Several Plateau Corvette Club members participated in the Alzheimer’s of Tennessee Event on Saturday, September 16th held at the Fairfield Glade First Baptist Church. There were donation coin cans next to each Corvette on display. People added money into the coin can and the Corvette Can with
    the most money, is the ‘Favorite Corvette’. The money was then donated to Alzheimer’s.

  • On September 13th 18 Club Members plus one guest (for a total of 19) traveling in 11 Corvettes, headed out together along Tennessee’s beautiful two-lane backroads for a day filled with fun and adventure to the Top of the Rock Restaurant in Jasper, TN. If you’ve never been to the “Top of the Rock” you really should try it! From their deck, you look out over the valley at the Tennessee River and the Nickajack Dam. Across the river to the east, you are looking at Georgia and to the south, Alabama. After lunch, we took a short drive over to the Lodge Factory Store. Although many of us enjoyed the shopping, we didn’t get to see the “World’s Largest Cast Iron Skillet” We ended the day, with ice cream of course – at Ember’s Ice Cream in Pikeville, Tennessee.

  • At the Thursday night meeting of the Plateau Corvette Club, Club treasurer Dom Janusky presented a check to Alicia Ricketts, Manager of Fair Park Senior Center.
