  • The Plateau Corvette Club members made their year end donations to four different charities for 2022.

    The First was to the Cookeville-Putman County Animal Shelter in Honor of our Charter Club Governor Jack Carkner.

    2n- The Cumberland Good Samaritans, Cumberland Good Samaritans is a non-profit organization that operates to address the unmet needs of people in crisis in Cumberland County.

    3rd- Bread of Life Rescue Mission- The Missions purpose is glorifying God through the salvation of souls and rehabilitation of individuals providing temporary shelter and food for the homeless.

    4th- Volunteer Energy Cooperative- Project Deserve allows them to help the elderly, handicapped, and low income families with their electric bills in emergency situations.

  • Tuesday November 22, 35 Plateau Corvette Club members in 23 cars got together for a Pre-Turkey Day Romp. The day was filled with fun times, big smiles and some beautiful Tennessee roads. We started the day spreading some “Get Well Soon Vibes” as we paraded by the houses of our three members who are all recovering from recent surgery. After the parade, we headed over to Gondola Pizza and Steak House where we enjoyed, conversation, laughter and a nice lunch together. Once we were finished with lunch, several in the group broke off and some of them headed to the hills for some back road Cruisin’ heading to Wooden’s Apple House for dessert.

  • Thursday November 10th several Plateau Corvette Club members drove to Falls Creek Falls for a spirited drive to enjoy the fall colors. They stopped at the the Lodge in Fall Creek Falls for lunch

  • On a cold and blustery day the Plateau Corvette Club members held The Jack Carkner Memorial Rallye as a way to honor, remember and recognize the contributions that Jack made to our club. Club members participated in a Rallye that consisted of written clues that they had to find the answer to while driving along a specified route. Contestants with the most correct answers and the best Poker Hand were declared the winners. The final destination was the Timberloft Restaurant in Gordonsville, TN .

  • November 6th the Plateau Corvette Club had their annual fall picnic at the Fairfield Glade Library. Members enjoyed a great time with lots of great food and yummy desserts. A Corn Hole tournament was played and new Champions were crowned.

  • November 6 , 2022 Plateau Corvette Club members participated in the Crossville Veterans Day parade to Honor our Veterans escorting the past and present MS. Senior Cumberland County and Fairest of the Fair.

  • Sunday, October 23rd the East Tennessee Corvette Club invited Plateau Corvette Club members to their 52nd Annual Corvette Car show. Several members drove over to Clinton TN to the show by the back roads of Tennessee to enjoy the fall colors. Club member Claudia won an award for her car in the show. After the show club members enjoyed dinner at Gus’s World Famous Fried Chicken. After dinner they took a leisurely night drive back home. Thanks to East Tennessee Corvette Club for a fun show.

  • October 22 the Crossville Cruisers held the last Crossville Downtown Cruise In for 2022. Several Plateau Corvette Club members joined other Classic Car owners to display their Corvettes on Main Street. The weather was great and a large crowd was on hand.

  • On Sunday October 16th the Plateau Corvette Club members were invited by the new owners of the Custard Cabin Ice Cream Shop in Fairfield Glade to bring their cars for a local “Corvette Only” show. They offered special pricing for us and those who stop by during those hours to enjoy looking at the vehicles.

  • October 13th Plateau Corvette Club members Spread some Happiness with a ” Cheer Up & Get Well Soon “Corvette Parade for club member Tim and his wife . Tim is doing cardiac rehab at Cumberland Medical Center. After the parade they joined club members for lunch at Express Lunch in downtown Crossville. We wish him a speedy recovery.
