• August 22-24,2024 a group of Plateau Corvette Club members traveled to Carlisle PA to attend the 50th Anniversary of Corvettes at Carlisle. They were joined by over 3500 other Corvettes from C-1’s to the new C-8’s. The new 2025 ZR-1 was on display at the GM tent with seminars given on the new 1064 horse powered V-8 with twin Turbos.

  • Wednesday August 7th under cloudy and rainy skies Plateau Corvette Club members took a scenic drive to Kentucky stopping for Lunch at Los Mariachis in Scottsville, KY.

  • Plateau Corvette Club members made a donation to the Fair Park Senior Center at their August 1st meeting.   • July 27th several Plateau Corvette Club members attended the last 2024 Downtown Crossville Cruise In hosted by the Crossville Cruisers. Over 206 vintage and custom cars and trucks plus one Flintstone Mobile were on display. Weather was good till the rain came and dampened the event. Big Thank You to the Crossville Cruisers for putting on a great event.

  • Plateau Corvette Club members were invited to join East Tennessee Corvette Club’s Poker Run on July 20th. One of the first stops was at the McGhee Tyson Air National Guard Base, where they drove onto the Air Base and pull up in front of a fully armed Black Hawk Helicopter. There was a professional photographer present, taking photos of each one of their Vettes in front of the helicopter. Part of their drive was cruising the 318 curves of the 11 miles of twisty roads that make up the Tail of the Dragon. A Lunch stop was made at Tapoco Tavern in North Carolina. They had a wonderful ride on the Poker Run and the Tail of the Dragon. Thanks to Roger and Kathy for leading the pack. We were all winners in the end.

  • Saturday July 20th several Plateau Corvette Club members attended the Swing on Brewing Third annual Car show. Even though it did rain, it was a very nice event with live music perform by our very own club member Roger and his band. Thanks for a great show.

  • FRIDAY MORNING, JULY 19TH Several Plateau Corvette Club members assembled for a
    “Drive By” Get Well & Cheer Up Parade to John & Reggie’s home.

  • On Tuesday, June 25th, members gathered for a beautiful Tennessee back roads drive to the Beechcraft Heritage Museum. The group couldn’t have ordered a more perfect day to get out and hit the roads – sunshine, blue skies and great times together! On the way to the museum, they stopped at Arnold Air force Base for a photo op with a jet. A lunch stop was made at the Whiskey Trail BBQ & Steakhouse. After lunch they headed over to the Museum where the group toured the facility and planes on exhibit. It was a fantastic way to spend the day together!

    Of course, on the way home, they stopped for ice cream which was enjoyed by all!

  • June 20th several Plateau Corvette Club members enjoyed a great ride with 11 club member corvettes and one extra visitor to round out a nice Dozen running the curves on the Devils Triangle. They had a wonderful lunch at Calhouns on the lake in Oak Ridge. Thanks to everyone that came out today.
